This year, more than 27,000 fans, content creators, and industry executives flocked to the Anaheim Convention Center from June 26-28th for the 2017 VidCon show, as it gathers thousands of brilliant minds from video creators, and industry opinion-leaders for the latest YouTube trends. The show is the largest conference for and about online video, as it attracts people across generations to celebrate, discuss, and define the future of online visual entertainment.

VidCon, the YouTube creator’s expo for today’s online video stars and tomorrow’s next YouTube celebrities will showcase this week. Many popular YouTube personalities compete for video views, subscribers, and big audiences that drive the VidCon experience Reallusion – the 2D/3D content and software developer – are proud to be showcasing its user-friendly CrazyTalk Animator 3 animation tool to help video content developers garner video engagement.
At VidCon 2017, Reallusion will be setup at Booth #2624 where would-be YouTube stars can signup for an extended trial copy of CrazyTalk Animator 3 PRO (CTA3), and free video training. Reallusion and Michigan State University announced a strategic partnership this month and launched with a special event at the MSU College of Arts and Sciences joining the Smithsonian Latino Center for a two-day Cultural Digi Summit. Michigan State School of Journalism, Animation and Immersive Realities professor, Stacey Fox invited Reallusion to take part in the Smithsonian Latino Center’s Cultural Digi Summit to present and demonstrate 2D & 3D character creation and animation tools for generating culturally diverse digital characters.
Reallusion is back after attending this year’s Comic Con event at the Javits Center in New York city. The convention projected to have over 167,000 guests, making it the largest Comic Con event up to date!
New York Comic Con is the East Coast’s biggest and most exciting popular culture convention. The show hosted the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television. Along with Panels and Autograph Sessions that gave Fans a chance to interact with their favorite Creators. The event’s screening rooms featured sneak peeks at films and television shows months before they hit big and small screens.
After two months of intensive work and sharing, Reallusion and Polycount announce that the iClone 2016 3D Character Design Contest has finally come to an end with dozens of incredible character entries that have helped rewrite the 3D character design rules.
3D character design has proven to be one of the most challenging tasks for 3D artists, as creating fully animatable 3D characters often requires a multidisciplinary team. To address this Reallusion provided contestants with the iClone Character Creator tool, one of the most versatile 3D character solutions that has changed the character design workflow through a creation system that includes fast avatar slider morphing, free-to-dress capabilities, fully rigged face and body animation, along with multiple accessory usage for unlimited possibilities in one free, easy to use application.

A Brand New Way for Character Creation
Hosted by real-time animation industry pioneer – Reallusion, the 2016 3D Character Design Contest encourages 3D artists from the world to discover and exploit one of the most versatile 3D character creation solutions that the industry has ever seen. Microsoft, in cooperation with @Mobacap have gathered the best in southern VR during events held in Atlanta and Miami in May and June. Over 300 attendees experienced VR games and visualizations from start-up and AAA game and video production teams. The Microsoft Innovation Centers in Atlanta and Miami provide start-up and incubator spaces to help in launching businesses and projects where the environment is highly collaborative and that is what’s on display so well during intoxicating VR. The teams and VR experiences are part of a community of creators innovating in VR and that have teamed up with Microsoft to showcase and share VR innovation on a local level with outreach to connect the area’s key business, artist and technical people during a night VR, drinks and lots of WOWS!
Panel discussion – How to Develop Previs in Asia?
Reallusion participated at the grand annual CG event at Asia- SIGGRAPH ASIA 2015, held in Kobe, Japan on November 2nd-5th. Cristopher Chen, Vice President of Reallusion, as one of the founding director of the PREVISUALIZATION SOCIETY ASIA, lead a panel discussion in SIGGRAPH with the topic – “How to Develop PreVis in Asia?” with 4 other speakers on November 4th.
