Aside from work, I play in a rock band, and I contribute to the iClone industry as a Certified Content Developer by applying my engineering skills, business experience and creativity to the creation of exclusive Character Creator Cloths for iClone characters and miscellaneous derived specialized iClone products.
Q: Hello Bigboss! Please share with us a little about your background and your work.
I am a computer engineer with a master’s degree in Business and Administration (MBA). I work as an Agile practitioner and executive in a world leading organization specialized in the development of high end on-line 3D video games for the entertainment industry.
Aside from work, I play in a rock band and I contribute to the iClone industry as a Certified Content Developer by applying my engineering skills, business experience and creativity to the creation of exclusive Character Creator Cloths for iClone characters and miscellaneous derived specialized iClone products.
I also partner with Reallusion and numerous third party top-off-the-line artists (Protofactor, MaxBugor, Arteria3D, TripleBrick Studios, Vertigo Games, 4ToonStudio, 3DUniverse, cgPitbull, Explosive LLC, etc.) in repurposing their products for use in iClone and reselling in the Reallusion iClone Content Store as well as in my Reallusion City BigbossTreasures and Animation4iClone theme stores.
Q: You have been in the 3D industry for a long time, could you share with us when and why you start working on animation/2D graphic design or 3D models? Do you remember how you discovered iClone?
I started to work with iClone back in 2008 because I felt that iClone was the most advanced Machinima Movie Making machine available at the time and I feel this remains the case even today.
iClone’s amazing rendering and authoring capabilities and ease of use allows users to create stunning professional movies within minutes. Furthermore, with the recent additions in iClone 7 of physical based rendering (PBR) and animated morphing capabilities, iClone can compete with any professional high-end commercial tool available today.
Q: Could you tell us about your thoughts on iClone, and why you chose it. Besides our tools, what other software do you use? Any samples of your work?
The integration of iClone with CrazyTalk provides a powerful environment for creating expressive characters at the touch of a few buttons.
My character cloth pipeline includes Marvelous Designer, 3DStudio Max, Mudbox, 3DXchange, Character Creator, Adobe Photoshop, and iClone.
Machinima storytelling has never been so easy with iClone and other integrated Reallusion and third-party tools.
Q: What can the animation community expect from you in the future?
My development plans include extending my new Character Creator ccCloth line with another 80+ exclusive historical ccCloth designs.
I also plan to introduce numerous new exclusive special effects for use in iClone, and continue the development of specialized exclusive products providing users with unmatched capabilities. Additionally, I look forward to extending my Small Crowds and EZ Motions product lines with new and exciting products.
Q: Is there anything else you would like share or say to your fans that have followed you for so long?
Well, I can honestly say that the Reallusion City developer community portal provides a stimulating environment and a series of integrated powerful tools for content developers to exchange ideas and bring new iClone products to the market.
