The 42nd annual SIGGRAPH conference and expo was held in Los Angeles, California August 11-13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center where we were on-site at the expo to demo the latest from iClone.

Reallusion demos at Siggraph were led by the iClone Live Motion Capture system featuring the Noitom Perception Neuron mocap suit.  iClone 6 was also featured on a demo stage in the Noitom booth.

The 32 neuron mocap suit powered an iClone character in real-time as show attendees watched the process live.   The suit is able to be used via wifi so there is little limitation on where you can move while capturing  your motion.   The iClone Live Motion Capture system demo showed how any 3D character can be imported and then be the model used to live capture the motion.

Reallusion and Noitom held a contest during Siggraph to provide anyone that came by the booth and scanned their badge or left a business card with a chance to win the 32 Neuron, Perception Neuron mocap suit.  After the close of the show we compiled the names and the lucky draw winner is:

John Blalock, Art Institute Orange County.  Congratulations!

  1. I can’t seem to find ANYTHING on the website regarding how to buy/use Perception Neuron with iClone. I would think if this was available they’d be touting this a lot and have tutorial videos. Perhaps I’ve missed where they are. Any links would be appreciated (I’ve already seen plenty of demos).
