Machinima, the emerging media movement where minimal studios produce maximum entertainment registered another milestone this week with the release of, ‘BEAST,’ by the Binary Picture Show.
BEAST opens as a kidnapped man wakes up bound in a mysterious room, knowing nothing of his captor, or indeed why he is there, setting the stage for a killer cinematic thrill.
Most Machinima films rely on in-game effects, fighting and heavy action missing the connection of true character emotion to the audience. BEAST not only connects to the audience, it grips, twists and shakes. Congratulations to the Binary Picture Show on a truly landmark film. Reallusion is honored to have such an accomplished example of CrazyTalk within BEAST.
“Crazytalk gave me the ability to do some great facial animation that would have been very difficult and time consuming in many other tools.” – Leo Lucien-Bay, BEAST creator.
The release of BEAST took place on Sunday Sept 16th: View High-Res version here
